As part of our Centenary commemorations we are placing "Poppy Plaques" on buildings where the fallen were born or lived. Out of 109 names on our war memorial 32 properties still survive. Out of these to date we have 25 acceptances from owners to have a plaque on their house. The plaques will be installed from 17th June, each householder will receive a framed certificate telling the story of the men and their families who lived there.

On Sunday 8th July we will be holding a service of dedication outside the Crown & Cushion Hotel in Chipping Norton. Here we have placed a plaque commemorating all the men, women and children of the town who suffered because of the war.

After this we will walk around some of the plaques in the town centre and tell the stories of the men who lived there.
